Narrative:
After following checklist procedures for a wing anti-ice warning; we applied takeoff power. Prior to 80 KTS while accelerating; the left engine itt reached the red-line limit and I called for the abort. The first officer hesitated to abort and I had to manually close the throttles. By the time of throttles closed; speed brakes up and brakes applied we were accelerated through 90 KTS with a V1 of 107. Ran the checklist; the item cleared and we continued with no further problems.
