| Anomaly | Deviation - Procedural Clearance Ground Incursion Runway |
Narrative:
I needed 0.7 of the 5.0 hours to complete my solo night requirement to be eligible for my commercial license. I was in closed traffic for 7R. I had completed one takeoff and landing. After landing; I was taxied off the runway and cleared to taxi via tango back to hold at the tango/7R intersection; to wait for clearance to again depart from 7R and do another traffic pattern. There were four other aircraft waiting for departure. Each was cleared. I was waiting for my departure clearance when the tower told me to hold short of 7R; number two for departure. I repeated my clearance. I thought the tower said position and hold; number two for departure. I positioned and held on 7R (in doing so crossing the hold short line and creating a possible runway incursion). The tower quickly directed me off the runway. Tower ATC defined the incident as pilot deviation. I was the one at fault; I misheard my taxi instructions.
