Narrative:

While departing runway 26L; we encountered wake vortices's from a small transport that departed in front of us. We entered the vortices's right after takeoff and around 100 feet the airplane started to roll violently to the left and I corrected the rolling motion with right aileron. The wing leveled for a split second and then it rolled violently to the left again. I put full right aileron and the roll continued to roll left. We received the aural warning 'bank angle; bank angle'. The wings leveled and I continued the climb and eventually the RNAV departure without any other issues. When I finally got the wings leveled the aircraft had drifted way left of the centerline. We continued the climb in the wake until we reached snufy intersection. Tower didn't say anything to us about our drift or possible wake encounter so we just switched over to departure and continued on. I have been encountering these issues lately taking off out of atl but this was the first time this close to the ground. Tower is not allowing enough spacing between departures.

Title: An air carrier Captain reported encountering wake turbulence from the preceding small transport on takeoff from ATL. The reporter alleged having this problem out of ATL in the past; in his opinion because of insufficient spacing.
