Narrative:

July 24 commercial chart revision replaced all sbgr stars with new procedures effective 30jul09. The only notice to crews that these plates were rescinded was by airport NOTAM; which was not available until date of flight. All crews flying to sbgr will have incorrect stars in their books as did myself; all my crew members and dispatch. Correct stars were discarded in accordance with revision instructions. This problem would be easily remediable with electronic flight bag. With paper chart distribution correct pages will be weeks delayed.
