Narrative:

We had pushed back from gate and received taxi clearance. I turned on the taxi light and started to move when I saw a catering truck speeding down the road. I turned on my turnoff lights to alert him and he accelerated toward our position and veered around outside the road lines and continued eastbound. I stopped when it was obvious he was not going to (we were not moving much to begin with). We reported the incident to the ramp. The speed the truck was going was at least as disturbing as his failure to give way.
