Narrative:

During takeoff roll aircraft was making a loud shimmy noise and vibration with a grinding component to the sound and airspeed did not seem to be increasing normally. I thought that I had a problem with the gear or the tires that seem to be preventing the aircraft from accelerating normally. I called abort at or above about 120 KTS and deployed thrust reverser's and like braking due to the large amount of runway remaining. Completed checklists returned to gate.
