Narrative:

Between 80-90 KTS on takeoff; we received an ECAM master caution for an aft cargo door open. I aborted the takeoff; advised ATC and exited the runway. We told the flight attendants and passengers to remain seated. Rejected takeoff activated for a brief second before I disarmed rejected takeoff. We returned to the gate and had maintenance look at the door and confirm the door was closed and deferred the cargo door ECAM caution. Maintenance also inspected the brakes; which had reached a maximum temperature of 380 degrees. We refueled and departed.
