Narrative:

Cockpit air noise was excessive. By turning off the right recirculating fan we were only able to reduce air noise slightly. We missed numerous ATC radio calls. I was forced to wear an earpiece for most of the flight. This aircraft has numerous write ups on this issue. This is a safety issue! It is only a matter of time until one of our crews mistakenly answers a radio call for another aircraft. This could lead to a hull loss. Many of our pilots have given up writing these reports due to the inaction of the company and the FAA. Please take these reports seriously. This is a safety issue!
