Narrative:
While on final to 34L we received a TCAS directive to 'don't descend'. The duration of my level off because of the TCAS alert caused me to be too high to complete the approach safely; and I elected to go missed approach. The subsequent approach was uneventful.

Title: An air carrier aircraft on final approach received a TCAS RA; which required not descending. When clear of conflict the aircraft was to high to affect a stabilized approach the flight crew initiated a go-around.
Narrative: While on final to 34L we received a TCAS directive to 'Don't Descend'. The duration of my level off because of the TCAS alert caused me to be too high to complete the approach safely; and I elected to go missed approach. The subsequent approach was uneventful.
