Narrative:

Cruise flight level at FL350 with restriction to cross 60 NM south of the VOR at FL240 on the arrival. At approximately FL310 cabin warning horn sounded. Red box procedures were accomplished. An emergency was declared with descent to 10;000 ft. Landed without incident and wrote up the problem and debriefed mechanic at gate. First officer called operations and advised them of our problem and asked them to inform the company.

Title: B737-800 flight crew experienced pressurization failure during descent. Emergency was declared and flight continued to destination for normal landing.
