Narrative:
Upon performing an annual inspection per F.a.right. 43; a review of aircraft records was performed and a review of pertinent applicable airworthiness directives (ad) was also performed. The ad 2006-18-15 was reviewed by appliance search of the F.a.a. Database. The list of aircraft is incomplete in that it lists neither the aircraft; piper PA28R-200; or the engine lycoming IO360-C1C. This does not relieve responsibility of this technician; however; a database search by commercially available inspection library systems might not yield this applicable ad. It was found that this ad has not been either initially accomplished; or repetitively accomplished; on this particular aircraft.to prevent this issue in the future; this ad should be amended to delete all existing aircraft and engine type examples; due to the fact it is incomplete; and issue the ad against the model of the propeller only.
