Narrative:

I was going to practice touch-and-goes with my student. Runway 33 was in use and no one was flying in the traffic pattern at this time. After second touch-and-go on the climb out at about 600 ft AGL I started to feel vibrations. I cross-checked the engine instruments and I saw that the oil pressure and oil temperature gauges were on green but the engine RPM was dropping and vibrations were escalating. I took over the controls; while turning right crosswind; reducing power to idle; making sure that primer was locked and requested landing on runway 15 due to engine problems. We received the current wind information and clearance to land on runway 15 from the tower. Landing was uneventful. We vacated the runway. Engine was running really rough. We had to turn the magnetos to off position in order to turn the engine off.
