Narrative:

I was on final. There was a right crosswind out of 340 at about 12 KT with gusts. As I flared; a gust of wind raised the nose of the aircraft. I added power to compensate but the aircraft dropped a few feet to the runway. At touchdown; the aircraft veered sharply to the left. I countered with right rudder and brake; but the plane continued a gradual turn to the left into the grass and came to a rest. At that time I noticed the collapsed left main gear. There was no other damage to the aircraft.
