Narrative:

Descending into msp we received a TCAS RA. The traffic first showed up + 200 feet while we were descending. We received an aural 'traffic' alert. As we continued our descent we received an RA and aural 'climb; crossing climb'. The first officer disconnected the autopilot and complied with the vertical guidance. I informed ATC that we were following a TCAS RA. ATC informed us that they showed no traffic in the immediate area. The TCAS RA went away without ever giving the 'clear of conflict' alert. We then resumed the descent and landed uneventfully.
