ATR-72-212 aircraft damage; equipment malfunction; cockpit window blew out under pressure [while undergoing maintenance]. Aircraft parked on ramp; approximately under (cabin) pressure for a window leak check. Myself and another mechanic were in the right (and left) side of aircraft at the time. Just before shut down; the left aft forward cockpit window blow out when the right aft front window was the one being checked at the time. The other mechanic was injured. Shut engine down and attended to the injured co-worker in the left seat.

Title: A Mechanic reports about that an ATR-72's left aft forward cockpit window of an ATR-72 blew out during a ground pressurization check for a reported right side aft window whistling. The mechanic in the left seat was injured by from broken glass and debris during the sudden cockpit-cabin depressurization.
