The 2ND and 3RD occurrence of potential conflict is sent for safety information only for your statistics and the hope it contributes even slightly to improved safer operation. Cleared to runway 13R jfk to follow a widebody transport on the inner. As we approached (north) another widebody transport Y was approaching from our right at a good rate with no signs of slowing. As this was the 3RD conflict occurrence without ever getting airborne, the captain and I discussed widebody transport Y as ground control again made no mention of this aircraft. Since the frequency was clogged with other aircraft, I could not override the tower, widebody transport Y did not slow down but in fact sped up. We stopped to avoid a collision had we continued. With this brazen and 3RD display of 'I'm first' and disregard of prudent safe practice I demanded of ground to repeat our sequence and taxi clearance. They responded 'follow widebody transport or the inner' completely unaware we were now behind widebody transport Y. When made aware of the conflict. They apologized for 'their' mistake. I informed them this was the 3RD mistake today to our flight alone. The controller acknowledged this with another apology. We have come to expect much better from jfk and caution all, take nothing for granted, be willing to give the right of way least we start acting like some freeway drivers.

Title: LGT HAD TO STOP TAXIING ON TXWY TO ALLOW WDB TO PASS IN FRONT. FLT CREW UPSET WITH WDB FLT CREW BEHAVIOR AND GND CTLR LACK OF ADVISORY.

AS THIS WAS THE 3RD CONFLICT OCCURRENCE WITHOUT EVER GETTING AIRBORNE, THE CAPT AND I DISCUSSED WDB Y AS GND CTL AGAIN MADE NO MENTION OF THIS ACFT. SINCE THE FREQ WAS CLOGGED WITH OTHER ACFT, I COULD NOT OVERRIDE THE TWR, WDB Y DID NOT SLOW DOWN BUT IN FACT SPED UP. WE STOPPED TO AVOID A COLLISION HAD WE CONTINUED. I INFORMED THEM THIS WAS THE 3RD MISTAKE TODAY TO OUR FLIGHT ALONE. THE CTLR ACKNOWLEDGED THIS WITH ANOTHER APOLOGY. WE HAVE COME TO EXPECT MUCH BETTER FROM JFK AND CAUTION ALL, TAKE NOTHING FOR GRANTED, BE WILLING TO GIVE THE R OF WAY LEAST WE START ACTING LIKE SOME FREEWAY DRIVERS.
