Narrative:

While on a part 91 ferry permit and in a 400-ft a minute climb through FL480 we experienced a momentary indication of the left engine fire light. There were no other indications and the light went immediately out. We asked ATC for a lower altitude and informed ATC of the event and stated all systems were normal at which time we continued our approach to our destination. The postflight inspection reveals no evidence of any type of fire. The above was documented on the daily flight log. No additional information available at this time.
