Narrative:

Enroute; descending through FL300; we received a 'right 14th duct' master warning message. We (cockpit crew) performed the 'right 14th duct' QRH procedure. The 'right 14th duct' master warning message did not extinguish within the prescribed time; so we then followed the QRH procedure to land at the nearest suitable airport (ZZZ). We declared an emergency with ATC; informed the flight attendant and passengers of the situation. ZZZ crash fire rescue met us exiting the runway as requested and performed a visual inspection of the aircraft. Crash fire rescue reported that there were no visual abnormalities. After we notified the flight attendant and passengers that there were no abnormalities; we taxied to the gate and deplaned normally. The passengers thanked us for getting them to ZZZ safely and expressed their appreciation for our calm professional demeanor.
