Narrative:
My supervisor handed me a stack of 19 new approach plates for instrument approaches at npa. The changes are effective tomorrow. We are expected to self-brief; internalize; and be ready to implement these changes in less than 24 hours. I find this to be unsafe and an extremely poor way to brief controllers on safety-critical information.
