Narrative:

Indianapolis center cleared my flight to cross blunt intersection at 10000' and 250 KTS. When my aircraft was passing 10500', the controller asked why we went below 12000'. We advised him of his clearance and our readback at which time he reclred my flight to 11000' and said he was sorry about the mix up. I believe that we probably penetrated the dayton area airspace. Hence, the need for the climb clearance. The flight was sheduled service from dtw-cvg-mem.
