Narrative:

During descent phase into ZZZ; the crew was informed by center that ZZZ1 tower wanted us to know that tire debris was found on the runway in ZZZ1 and that it was likely to be from our flight or one other. First officer was pilot flying. Captain initiated discussion amongst crew including jumpseating pilot and flight attendants. First officer saw no abnormal tire condition on preflight inspection. No one had noticed anything unusual on the takeoff from ZZZ1. It was decided to treat the landing as if it were possible blown tire situation. Cabin advisory was issued to flight attendants. ATC was requested to have fire trucks standing by. The captain made the very fine landing with minimal speed and descent rate. No adverse results; it was a normal landing; rollout and taxi to gate. Postflight inspection revealed that the tread had separated from the right main outboard tire on takeoff from ZZZ1. Some minor damage occurred to the landing gear door. Maintenance was contacted and local FBO maintenance was utilized to make repairs. Flight continued return revenue leg to ZZZ1 after delay. Supplemental information from acn 828173: fire trucks followed us to parking. On engine shutdown; we were notified by ground crew we indeed had a shredded right outboard tire. Only tread was gone and tire was still fully inflated. Tires were changed and right gear door removed for possible damage and we returned to ZZZ1 uneventfully.
