Narrative:

Final approach controller issued this clearance: 'aircraft X cleared for a visual approach. Maintain 8;000 ft until the 16 DME fix. Maintain 210 KTS until the 10 DME fix. Maintain 170 KTS until the 5 DME fix. Contact the tower.' I still don't know how first officer did it. I had to write it down. I didn't think it was going to be stable at 1;000 ft. ATC is getting very liberal with issuing clearance like this. Refuse the clearance.
