Narrative:

Called while on break. Aircraft's left center fuel pump wouldn't turn off. Quantity ran down to 300 lbs -- should stop at 2400 lbs on heavy B777. Pump cycled on/off several times per minute with switch off. Two first officers went into east&east compartment with maintenance provided instructions and pulled the circuit breaker for the pump. This is a repeat problem with this pump on this aircraft. Pump stopped. Quantity increased over time to 1300 lbs before scavenge pump emptied tank. Flight continued to destination with no further problem.
