Narrative:

I found out that I had selected the wrong 'test select' resistor for a VOR receiver. The resistor that I substituted was for R-114 instead of R-30. I discovered this while I was troubleshooting another unit and I asked for a lead mechanic's help and when he pointed out the proper resistors; I realized that I had installed the resistor in the wrong place. The units that are mentioned above need to be returned to the shop for a check of resistor R-114. Double-check all schematics and parts before replacing any.
