Narrative:

On a flight to prc we were informed by abq center that prc was closed for snow removal. Upon reviewing the dispatch release; I noticed a NOTAM listing the prc ad (aerodrome) closed. I missed this NOTAM during my review of the release prior to departure and dispatch missed this NOTAM as well. Abq center then informed us that prescott would remain closed for approximately 2 more hours. After assessing our position and fuel on board I determined that phx was easily reachable with more than adequate fuel reserves. No alternate was listed on the release. I coordinated this change with dispatch via arinc and advised ATC of the diversion to ZZZ. The remainder of the flight was uneventful. The factors involved with the oversight of this NOTAM include the rushed pace of a quick turn in ont due to unrealistic scheduled block times; the NOTAM being inconspicuously hidden among notams of little importance; dispatches blatant oversight of this NOTAM; and ATC releasing the flight from ont to a closed airport. To avoid this type of error in the future I plan to finely comb through all notams regardless of schedule time pressures and to not put as much reliance in dispatch to catch these important NOTAM. The NOTAM system should also provide away of differentiating between important notams such as airport closures and notams of a less important nature (i.e. VASI out of service or 40 ft crane 1 mi south of ad). It's very easy to gloss over important notams when they are mixed in with 'nuisance' notams.

Narrative: On a flight to PRC we were informed by ABQ Center that PRC was closed for snow removal. VASI out of service or 40 ft crane 1 mi S of AD). It's very easy to gloss over important NOTAMs when they are mixed in with 'nuisance' NOTAMs.
