In cruise at FL330, #3 engine strut overheat light came on. Strut overheat emergency procedures were performed. The light remained on and #3 engine was shutdown. The light remained on and a decision was made to land at bna. Due to the overweight conditions of the aircraft for landing, 10000# of fuel were dumped. Clearance to dump was received from ATC (bna approach). A 2 engine approach and landing was made at bna. Strut overheat light on XA15Z #3 engine shutdown XA20Z. Landed bna XA59Z.
