Narrative:

Approximately XA30 local time. Prior to my flight I checked for local weather; tfr's or any NOTAMS utilizing resources such as 1-800-WX brief and WWW.FAA.government. No tfr's or NOTAMS were in effect during my planned photo flight from XA30 to XC00. In fact; was given confirmation from dispatch to confirm that NOTAM number fdc 09/803 issued jan/2009 at XZ03 UTC was in fact cancelled and was superseded by NOTAM number fdc 9/0892 issued jan/2009 at XW54 zulu. Dispatch called in to center at approximately XA45 who again confirmed that there were no tfr's. Arrived on location with a photographer on board to take photos of a wedding event. Prior to arrival on station -- I made a position report and eventually joined in with 3 other helicopters already on station to photograph event. Approximately 20-30 mins into the flight a law enforcement helicopter arrived on station -- however; law enforcement pilots did not give indication of a tfr or of any issue with our operation on station. After completing the photo mission I returned to my base and landed. Upon return to my base -- I was informed that one of the other pilots that was also on station in ZZZ had received communications from ATC in regard to violating a temporary flight restriction. My concerns are that there were no published or current tfr's in effect that I was able to find.
