Narrative:

On climbout; EICAS message 'fuel feed 2 fault.' ran quick reference handbook (QRH). Sent message to maintenance control and dispatch. Notified cabin and ATC. Flight crew; dispatch; and maintenance control decided to return to ZZZ. Approximately 10-15 minutes after the first message; another message appeared; 'engine 2 fuel low pressure.' ran all appropriate quick reference handbook checklists; contacted operations; and landed ZZZ with no problems. The previous flight had the exact same problem with the plane signed off operations check normal.

Title: An ERJ170 flight crew got EICAS message FUEL FEED 2 FAULT and returned to departure airport. After turning back they got ENG 2 FUEL LOW PRESS. Reporter mentioned these items were written up the previous flight and cleared by maintenance.
