Narrative:

After landing on runway 22 in roc; we cleared at taxiway A2. When we cleared the runway; I noticed that the yellow taxiway centerline is well to the right of center on A2. If an aircraft followed the yellow line as they cleared the runway on A2; they could possibly go off of the right side of A2 taxiway; especially in bad weather conditions. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter believes the line seen that afternoon may have been an extreme outside painted edge line defining taxiway A2 as it leaves the runway and then extending to the southeast side of taxiway a. It could also possibly be old paint or a joint in the concrete. But none-the-less; during night or poor visibility operations that line; if followed; would put an aircraft's nosewheels and right tires off the right side of taxiway a northwest of intersection A2.

Title: A PLT COMMENTS ON A TXWY MARKING NEAR A2 EXITING ROC RWY 22 THAT APPEARS TO BE A TXWY CTRLINE BUT IF FOLLOWED WOULD LEAD TO A TXWY EXCURSION.

Narrative: AFTER LNDG ON RWY 22 IN ROC; WE CLEARED AT TXWY A2. WHEN WE CLEARED THE RWY; I NOTICED THAT THE YELLOW TXWY CTRLINE IS WELL TO THE R OF CTR ON A2. IF AN ACFT FOLLOWED THE YELLOW LINE AS THEY CLEARED THE RWY ON A2; THEY COULD POSSIBLY GO OFF OF THE R SIDE OF A2 TXWY; ESPECIALLY IN BAD WEATHER CONDITIONS. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RPTR BELIEVES THE LINE SEEN THAT AFTERNOON MAY HAVE BEEN AN EXTREME OUTSIDE PAINTED EDGE LINE DEFINING TXWY A2 AS IT LEAVES THE RWY AND THEN EXTENDING TO THE SE SIDE OF TXWY A. IT COULD ALSO POSSIBLY BE OLD PAINT OR A JOINT IN THE CONCRETE. BUT NONE-THE-LESS; DURING NIGHT OR POOR VISIBILITY OPS THAT LINE; IF FOLLOWED; WOULD PUT AN ACFT'S NOSEWHEELS AND R TIRES OFF THE R SIDE OF TXWY A NW OF INTXN A2.
