Narrative:
On approach to landing; the captain (PF) and myself (PNF) experienced an asymmetric flap problem. We coordination with ATC; ran the appropriate emergency checklists and declared an emergency. We completed normal checklists; and landed on runway at nearby airport normally. After landing; we communicated with crash fire rescue equipment and confirmed the aircraft was in a safe condition. We then taxied to parking and normally deplaned.
