Narrative:

Shortly after takeoff in the turn; first officer; PF; lost all navigation data on his lower display. QRH consulted. Aircraft speed held to 250 KTS no procedure located and both the first officer and relief pilot; long time airbus pilots; opined that neither of them had seen these conditions. While they were troubleshooting communicating with co and maintenance I elected to return to ZZZ. Aircraft landed on longest runway and I requested emergency equipment be dispatched as I had never landed an A330 that heavy. Automatic brake med was selected.
