Narrative:

The FMC arrs and departures for rctp are not coded as shown on our chart pages. The FMC coding does not mimic the chart coding. It's time consuming; not to mention prone to errors when you're cleared for an arrival and then you can't find it in the FMC without loading various arrs and matching waypoints to the chart pages on the legs page and/or viewing it in plan mode. Of course; we verify after loading an arrival; but we shouldn't be hunting for the proper arrival in this manner.

OF COURSE; WE VERIFY AFTER LOADING AN ARR; BUT WE SHOULDN'T BE HUNTING FOR THE PROPER ARR IN THIS MANNER.
