Narrative:

FAA ramp inspector found the wing anti-ice duct clamp too close to the fuel bay wiring harness; reference engineering document XXX revision B. Inspection was about 20-30 mins prior to aircraft pushback. We were unable to determine at that point via line control if this engineering document was or was not done at this point. My action at this time was to simply do the repositioning of the clamp in accordance with the engineering document XXX revision B. This task was complied with and verified by our quality control department. Also log page XXX was entered into computer system to account for the delay on the aircraft. All paperwork had been complied with. Supplemental information from acn 802683: as per engineering document; at time of inspection clamp was oriented correctly. There was 0.5 inch clearance between clamp and adjacent wiring and there was not interference from the clamp and fuel panel access door latch. Subsequent inspection of aircraft discovered clamp to be oriented incorrectly.
