Narrative:
Polar 3 we had no data link and no satcom. We tried over 25 ldoc stations to try to obtain connectivity. We had this situation for approximately 1 hour 15 mins. HF worked for ATC (gander); but we did not have company contact.

Title: A B747-400 FO REPORTED BEING OUT OF CONTACT WITH ATC AND DISPATCH FOR OVER AN HOUR ON THE POLAR 3 ROUTE.
Narrative: POLAR 3 WE HAD NO DATA LINK AND NO SATCOM. WE TRIED OVER 25 LDOC STATIONS TO TRY TO OBTAIN CONNECTIVITY. WE HAD THIS SITUATION FOR APPROX 1 HR 15 MINS. HF WORKED FOR ATC (GANDER); BUT WE DID NOT HAVE COMPANY CONTACT.
