Narrative:

On aug/xa/08 and aug/xb/08; manassas tower was staffed with only 1 controller in the tower for 2 hours. This is an unsafe condition leaving 1 controller to work all position which include local control; ground control; flight data; clearance delivery; controller in charge; and monitoring the den line. This condition happens every day at the tower.

Title: HEF CTLR VOICED SAFETY CONCERNS REGARDING FACILITY STAFFING LEVELS AND THE REQUIREMENT TO WORK COMBINED POS.

Narrative: ON AUG/XA/08 AND AUG/XB/08; MANASSAS TWR WAS STAFFED WITH ONLY 1 CTLR IN THE TWR FOR 2 HRS. THIS IS AN UNSAFE CONDITION LEAVING 1 CTLR TO WORK ALL POS WHICH INCLUDE LCL CTL; GND CTL; FLT DATA; CLRNC DELIVERY; CTLR IN CHARGE; AND MONITORING THE DEN LINE. THIS CONDITION HAPPENS EVERY DAY AT THE TWR.
