Narrative:

After calling 'bingo' fuel; I allowed the us forest service employee -- atgs (air tactical ground supervisor) to badger and berate me to staying in position over the fire to continue directing air operations. I had let it be known that there was 1 hour fuel remaining when I called 'bingo.' I allowed us to remain over the fire for an additional 35 mins. After returning to the airport I took on enough fuel to indicate that I had approximately 15 mins of fuel left upon landing. I had felt enough pressure and hostility from this person to file a grievance with his superiors. I failed to exercise my authority/authorized as PIC to overrule this individual.
