Narrative:

Departing on runway xx flying my rv-6 experimental aircraft with a direct crosswind of 10-12 KTS; full right rudder was not sufficient to maintain runway heading in the wind and with engine torque and I struck a runway light. Aircraft damage: propeller; flap and fairing. I should have used the sod runway xy or runway xz which would have enough torque working with me and not against me as on runway xx.
