Narrative:

En route to ZZZ to ZZZ1 experienced loss of right hydraulic quantity at cruise FL390/mach .80 and approximately 120 NM southwest of xxxxx intersection. Received right hydraulic quantity caution accompanied by right reservoir light on hydraulic overhead panel. Right system pressure observed as normal and quantity indicated .52 mach with RF illuminated. Stabilized system as per QRH procedure and turned off right engine and electric hydraulic pumps. Notified ATC and requested divert direct ZZZ2 which was deemed as best suitable alternate 35 mins away using normal descent procedures. Notified dispatch. Declared emergency with ATC. Coordinated with flight attendants for emergency landing preparation and briefing of passenger. Priority handling received with ATC vectors to uneventful ILS runway 9 landing. As per QRH recommendation; restored right hydraulic electric pump at 1000 ft AGL for stability and braking. Right system quantity decreased to .42 mach and normal pressure was observed throughout landing rollout. Stopped and shutdown aircraft on runway and had arff captain inspect brakes and received all clear. Stayed on runway for maintenance tow to gate.
