Narrative:

Accomplished uneventful preflight. Discovered both engines 1 quart low on oil; which I added. Next accomplished uneventful engine start and taxied for takeoff. Once cleared; I applied power and began the takeoff roll. Noticed the right engine amber engine compartment annunciator illuminated. The captain called for an abort. I aborted per the flight manual. The PNF contacted tower and we were cleared to taxi off at taxiway J. No other annunciators were illuminated and the aircraft was under control. We elected to taxi without any assistance to the FBO ramp. Captain contacted maintenance and attempted an engine restart. The right amber engine compartment illuminated at the completion of the start sequence at this point the aircraft was grounded and the flight canceled.
