Narrative:

A bird strike occurred while landing at ZZZ airport. (Previously reported.) while having repairs done to the left tip tank an annual inspection with appropriate corrective actions for deficiencies was also performed. The left and right brake pads were replaced as part of that event. 30 mins of flight including 3 takeoff and lndgs were uneventful. An additional 20 mins of flight with 3 more takeoff and lndgs were uneventful. A cross country trip started at ZZZ1 airport. The left main brake B nut was leaking some brake fluid. The mechanic who did the service work was contacted. The nut was tightened and there was left brake function remaining but reduced. The brakes were still functional on the morning I decided to go to ZZZ2 airport for brake maintenance. As there was the potential for poor left brake performance I informed the controller while en route to ZZZ2. Emergency was declared as a precaution for possible problems if the left brake function failed. The landing and taxi were uneventful in spite of the reduced left brake function. The left side brakes were power flushed and bled. Normal function was regained. The remainder of the trip to ZZZ2 and back to ZZZ had normal brake function on both left and right sides. Notably other maintenance issues did develop on this trip. The left vacuum pump failed and the left propeller control became stiff. The pump was replaced at ZZZ3 and the propeller control was adjusted at the same time. The right vacuum pump failed on the return flight. The DME display also failed on the return flight. The aircraft is being repaired and inspected at ZZZ by the FBO mechanic who did the annual inspection.

Title: A C310 WITH A HISTORY OF MINOR BRAKE FLUID LEAKS AND WEAK BRAKE FUNCTIONS; DECLARED AN EMER WHILE ON APCH TO HAVE A MAJOR BRAKE SVC AT A DIFFERENT FBO.

Narrative: A BIRD STRIKE OCCURRED WHILE LNDG AT ZZZ ARPT. (PREVIOUSLY RPTED.) WHILE HAVING REPAIRS DONE TO THE L TIP TANK AN ANNUAL INSPECTION WITH APPROPRIATE CORRECTIVE ACTIONS FOR DEFICIENCIES WAS ALSO PERFORMED. THE L AND R BRAKE PADS WERE REPLACED AS PART OF THAT EVENT. 30 MINS OF FLT INCLUDING 3 TKOF AND LNDGS WERE UNEVENTFUL. AN ADDITIONAL 20 MINS OF FLT WITH 3 MORE TKOF AND LNDGS WERE UNEVENTFUL. A XCOUNTRY TRIP STARTED AT ZZZ1 ARPT. THE L MAIN BRAKE B NUT WAS LEAKING SOME BRAKE FLUID. THE MECH WHO DID THE SVC WORK WAS CONTACTED. THE NUT WAS TIGHTENED AND THERE WAS L BRAKE FUNCTION REMAINING BUT REDUCED. THE BRAKES WERE STILL FUNCTIONAL ON THE MORNING I DECIDED TO GO TO ZZZ2 ARPT FOR BRAKE MAINT. AS THERE WAS THE POTENTIAL FOR POOR L BRAKE PERFORMANCE I INFORMED THE CTLR WHILE ENRTE TO ZZZ2. EMER WAS DECLARED AS A PRECAUTION FOR POSSIBLE PROBS IF THE L BRAKE FUNCTION FAILED. THE LNDG AND TAXI WERE UNEVENTFUL IN SPITE OF THE REDUCED L BRAKE FUNCTION. THE L SIDE BRAKES WERE PWR FLUSHED AND BLED. NORMAL FUNCTION WAS REGAINED. THE REMAINDER OF THE TRIP TO ZZZ2 AND BACK TO ZZZ HAD NORMAL BRAKE FUNCTION ON BOTH L AND R SIDES. NOTABLY OTHER MAINT ISSUES DID DEVELOP ON THIS TRIP. THE L VACUUM PUMP FAILED AND THE L PROP CTL BECAME STIFF. THE PUMP WAS REPLACED AT ZZZ3 AND THE PROP CTL WAS ADJUSTED AT THE SAME TIME. THE R VACUUM PUMP FAILED ON THE RETURN FLT. THE DME DISPLAY ALSO FAILED ON THE RETURN FLT. THE ACFT IS BEING REPAIRED AND INSPECTED AT ZZZ BY THE FBO MECH WHO DID THE ANNUAL INSPECTION.
