Narrative:

The purpose of this report is to clarify the reason why aircraft X landed with 800 pounds total of fuel when we landed in ZZZ1 departing out of ZZZ. Upon reading the release for the flight we were assigned to take on 4912 pounds fuel for takeoff out of ZZZ and landing in ZZZ1 with approximately 1590 pounds of fuel. This was a legal dispatch from the company with plenty of cushion from our 1044 pounds landing minimum of fuel. During our departure climb out out of ZZZ en route to ZZZ1; we were given numerous step climbs at low altitude in fl airspace. We were step climbing between approximately 8000 ft and 28000 ft for approximately 32 mins before we were given a continuous climb to FL430 (this was due to traffic and turbulence). During the whole climb we were diligently monitoring the fuel and determined after reaching FL430 that we could safely land with 1200 pounds of fuel per reference to the FMS and semi-favorable WX. Reaching ATC center controllers; we were given early dscnts and vectors for new arrs that took us in a hook pattern to the airport. Referring to the FMS; we noticed that we could possibly land with 870 pounds of fuel on board. The captain and I talked that fuel issue over and determined that if we were to get anymore extended vectors that we would have to report minimum fuel to ATC to get priority treatment to the airport. This action became necessary as we were very close to the airport and we were clear to follow traffic into the airport. With constant cross scanning to the fuel gauges; fuel flow; and the FMS we determined that we could safely continue the flight and land without incident. I believe the cause of the event was the lengthy climbs at low altitudes out of xyz and the early descent from tuv contributed to the events. Also out of both stated locations we were also being vectored for WX and in particularly heavy turbulence out of xyz reported from an MD80. If able; when working out of xyz to tuv take a little extra fuel; although that fuel that we were dispatched was ample for the trip.

THIS WAS A LEGAL DISPATCH FROM THE COMPANY WITH PLENTY OF CUSHION FROM OUR 1044 LBS LNDG MINIMUM OF FUEL. DURING OUR DEP CLBOUT OUT OF ZZZ ENRTE TO ZZZ1; WE WERE GIVEN NUMEROUS STEP CLBS AT LOW ALT IN FL AIRSPACE. WE WERE STEP CLBING BTWN APPROX 8000 FT AND 28000 FT FOR APPROX 32 MINS BEFORE WE WERE GIVEN A CONTINUOUS CLB TO FL430 (THIS WAS DUE TO TFC AND TURB). DURING THE WHOLE CLB WE WERE DILIGENTLY MONITORING THE FUEL AND DETERMINED AFTER REACHING FL430 THAT WE COULD SAFELY LAND WITH 1200 LBS OF FUEL PER REF TO THE FMS AND SEMI-FAVORABLE WX. REACHING ATC CENTER CTLRS; WE WERE GIVEN EARLY DSCNTS AND VECTORS FOR NEW ARRS THAT TOOK US IN A HOOK PATTERN TO THE ARPT. REFERRING TO THE FMS; WE NOTICED THAT WE COULD POSSIBLY LAND WITH 870 LBS OF FUEL ON BOARD. THE CAPT AND I TALKED THAT FUEL ISSUE OVER AND DETERMINED THAT IF WE WERE TO GET ANYMORE EXTENDED VECTORS THAT WE WOULD HAVE TO RPT MINIMUM FUEL TO ATC TO GET PRIORITY TREATMENT TO THE ARPT. THIS ACTION BECAME NECESSARY AS WE WERE VERY CLOSE TO THE ARPT AND WE WERE CLR TO FOLLOW TFC INTO THE ARPT. WITH CONSTANT CROSS SCANNING TO THE FUEL GAUGES; FUEL FLOW; AND THE FMS WE DETERMINED THAT WE COULD SAFELY CONTINUE THE FLT AND LAND WITHOUT INCIDENT. I BELIEVE THE CAUSE OF THE EVENT WAS THE LENGTHY CLBS AT LOW ALTS OUT OF XYZ AND THE EARLY DSCNT FROM TUV CONTRIBUTED TO THE EVENTS. ALSO OUT OF BOTH STATED LOCATIONS WE WERE ALSO BEING VECTORED FOR WX AND IN PARTICULARLY HVY TURB OUT OF XYZ RPTED FROM AN MD80. IF ABLE; WHEN WORKING OUT OF XYZ TO TUV TAKE A LITTLE EXTRA FUEL; ALTHOUGH THAT FUEL THAT WE WERE DISPATCHED WAS AMPLE FOR THE TRIP.
