Narrative:
Working radar position at athens sector; tried to eliminate conflict between the 2 aircraft. B737 uncooperative in descent. Had to issue additional vectors but could not prevent error. Excess landline communication contributed to this error.

Narrative: WORKING RADAR POS AT ATHENS SECTOR; TRIED TO ELIMINATE CONFLICT BTWN THE 2 ACFT. B737 UNCOOPERATIVE IN DSCNT. HAD TO ISSUE ADDITIONAL VECTORS BUT COULD NOT PREVENT ERROR. EXCESS LANDLINE COM CONTRIBUTED TO THIS ERROR.
