Narrative:
An aircraft was flying towards tist airport. The aircraft tried to land but as he/she was on final he/she noticed personnel and equipment on the runway. Apparently the runway was closed. ZSU started an investigation and there was no information available or any NOTAM found. Today; we have in our information display system that tist runway is closed until XA00 from yesterday to today. No accident resulted but it was irresponsible not to have a NOTAM or information available to the controllers.

Title: ZSU CTLR DESCRIBED TIST LNDG EVENT WHEN ARR TFC WAS UNABLE TO LAND BECAUSE OF EQUIP ON RWY; NO INFO WAS AVAILABLE TO CTLRS/FAC.
Narrative: AN ACFT WAS FLYING TOWARDS TIST ARPT. THE ACFT TRIED TO LAND BUT AS HE/SHE WAS ON FINAL HE/SHE NOTICED PERSONNEL AND EQUIPMENT ON THE RWY. APPARENTLY THE RWY WAS CLOSED. ZSU STARTED AN INVESTIGATION AND THERE WAS NO INFORMATION AVAILABLE OR ANY NOTAM FOUND. TODAY; WE HAVE IN OUR INFORMATION DISPLAY SYSTEM THAT TIST RWY IS CLOSED UNTIL XA00 FROM YESTERDAY TO TODAY. NO ACCIDENT RESULTED BUT IT WAS IRRESPONSIBLE NOT TO HAVE A NOTAM OR INFORMATION AVAILABLE TO THE CTLRS.
