Narrative:

While in the pattern at ZZZ; I communicated my intentions and received a reply from another aircraft in the local area that they had me in sight and that we posed no problem to each other. I then went ahead and proceeded to land on runway 24. I exited the active runway onto the taxiway and; when almost ready to turn in to the main ramp area from the taxiway; I noticed an aircraft; which initially appeared to be a fixed wing aircraft but later turned out to be a chopper; make a sweeping left base turn onto a short final to the runway 24 taxiway. I couldn't believe what was happening! This aircraft was coming straight toward me just above the taxiway; was clearly planning to land (and did) on the taxiway that I was occupying; and all I could see at the time was a very bright landing light dead ahead. At this time; I hurried off the taxiway onto the main ramp area in order to get out of the way. Somewhat tense from this entire experience; coupled with the fact that my night vision acuity had been severely impaired by the bright landing light of the landing chopper ahead of me on the taxiway; my aircraft's left wing came in contact (as it traveled over) the right wing of a tied down C172 aircraft; solely as a consequence of my impaired night vision. I then taxied on to our hangar and; after securing our aircraft; I proceeded to check out both aircraft.

Title: C172 PILOT REPORTS EXPEDITIOUSLY CLEARING TXWY WHEN HELICOPTER LANDING OPPOSITE DIRECTION APPEARS TO BE IN CONFLICT. REPORTER'S WINGTIP CONTACTS WINGTIP OF PARKED ACFT DURING MANEUVER.

Narrative: WHILE IN THE PATTERN AT ZZZ; I COMMUNICATED MY INTENTIONS AND RECEIVED A REPLY FROM ANOTHER ACFT IN THE LCL AREA THAT THEY HAD ME IN SIGHT AND THAT WE POSED NO PROB TO EACH OTHER. I THEN WENT AHEAD AND PROCEEDED TO LAND ON RWY 24. I EXITED THE ACTIVE RWY ONTO THE TXWY AND; WHEN ALMOST READY TO TURN IN TO THE MAIN RAMP AREA FROM THE TXWY; I NOTICED AN ACFT; WHICH INITIALLY APPEARED TO BE A FIXED WING ACFT BUT LATER TURNED OUT TO BE A CHOPPER; MAKE A SWEEPING L BASE TURN ONTO A SHORT FINAL TO THE RWY 24 TXWY. I COULDN'T BELIEVE WHAT WAS HAPPENING! THIS ACFT WAS COMING STRAIGHT TOWARD ME JUST ABOVE THE TXWY; WAS CLEARLY PLANNING TO LAND (AND DID) ON THE TXWY THAT I WAS OCCUPYING; AND ALL I COULD SEE AT THE TIME WAS A VERY BRIGHT LNDG LIGHT DEAD AHEAD. AT THIS TIME; I HURRIED OFF THE TXWY ONTO THE MAIN RAMP AREA IN ORDER TO GET OUT OF THE WAY. SOMEWHAT TENSE FROM THIS ENTIRE EXPERIENCE; COUPLED WITH THE FACT THAT MY NIGHT VISION ACUITY HAD BEEN SEVERELY IMPAIRED BY THE BRIGHT LNDG LIGHT OF THE LNDG CHOPPER AHEAD OF ME ON THE TXWY; MY ACFT'S L WING CAME IN CONTACT (AS IT TRAVELED OVER) THE R WING OF A TIED DOWN C172 ACFT; SOLELY AS A CONSEQUENCE OF MY IMPAIRED NIGHT VISION. I THEN TAXIED ON TO OUR HANGAR AND; AFTER SECURING OUR ACFT; I PROCEEDED TO CHK OUT BOTH ACFT.
