Narrative:

Flying the mrn 1A rng transition; we had a terrain warning. We were in VMC and there was no threat to our flight. We were flying the arrival as published. Had we been in IMC we would have had no choice but to execute the escape. The arrival is safe; but there needs to be some additional notes on the arrival plate and also on the chart warning of such possibilities; such as gong slow and delaying descent until well inbound.
