Climbing out through approximately 9000 ft approach control asked why we were not on a 250 degree heading and flying the sykes 1. We told him that were cleared the tpa 3 per our pre departure clearance clearance. We had received no amendment to our crlnc from ground; tower or departure control.

Narrative: CLBING OUT THROUGH APPROX 9000 FT APCH CTL ASKED WHY WE WERE NOT ON A 250 DEG HDG AND FLYING THE SYKES 1. WE TOLD HIM THAT WERE CLEARED THE TPA 3 PER OUR PDC CLRNC. WE HAD RECEIVED NO AMENDMENT TO OUR CRLNC FROM GND; TWR OR DEP CTL.
