Narrative:
During the exterior inspection; I discovered the right aft elevator feel computer static pressure static port taped and painted over. I informed the captain and maintenance of the taped and painted static port. I entered this maintenance irregularity in the aircraft logbook. Maintenance then took the aircraft 'off line' to work the maintenance issue.

Narrative: DURING THE EXTERIOR INSPECTION; I DISCOVERED THE R AFT ELEVATOR FEEL COMPUTER STATIC PRESSURE STATIC PORT TAPED AND PAINTED OVER. I INFORMED THE CAPT AND MAINT OF THE TAPED AND PAINTED STATIC PORT. I ENTERED THIS MAINT IRREGULARITY IN THE ACFT LOGBOOK. MAINT THEN TOOK THE ACFT 'OFF LINE' TO WORK THE MAINT ISSUE.
