Narrative:

Loss of manifold pressure due to a malfunction in the turbocharger or possibly a fuel pump in a brand new mooney ended in an emergency landing at ZZZ. Everything in this emergency was done in accordance to far's but after landing and talking to a pilot friend over the phone about legalities; I came to realize that I was flying on an expired medical. I was under the impression that part 91 only required a third class medical but I now realize that regardless of the operation; a second class is needed to act as a commercial pilot. This situation will be fixed as soon as possible.
