Narrative:

Arriving at mdw at the end of a 4-DAY with an approach to runway 4R circle-to-land runway 13C; fell into the trap of accepting what approach gave me instead of insisting on a better approach. Approach was legal but not the best and safest option for the conditions. Could have landed straight-in on runway 4R with a 3 KT tailwind or insisted on the ILS 13C. Either would have been a better choice than circling at minimums. A routine case here at mdw of operating to appease ord traffic flow or ATC convenience; not sure which. I plan on ensuring that even with the normal desire to complete a trip that this will not happen again. I will get the best and safest approach or divert and come back when conditions are more suitable. Have enough pilots demand the best approach for conditions or divert.
