Narrative:

Aircraft at gate. High oil consumption on #2 engine. Running engine to find external leaks; cleaning truck. Coming from gate xa to gate xc; red beacon light on and engine running; the driver refused to stop and I tried to stop him as well; I flashed my flashlight and waved my arms to get him to stop. The driver refused and slowly continued on to gate xc. I have spoken to him and his supervisor as well. Told him about his safety out here. It seems that I was talking to myself. Safety comes first. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter stated even after talking with the driver and his supervisor; reporter felt there just wasn't any understanding; appreciation or comprehension as to the safety concerns he was trying to explain. Reporter stated he hopes the airport airfield safety officers can help. Reporter also stated that at least the #2 engine run oil leak check was successful; because they did find that the engine air oil cooler had numerous leaks at the cooler weld seams.
